Selenium

Browser automation framework for web testing

Visit Selenium

Selenium is a suite of tools for automating web browsers, primarily for automating web applications for testing purposes, but also usable for automating web-based administration tasks. It provides a way to drive browsers programmatically for regression automation suites and tests.

The suite includes Selenium WebDriver, a collection of language-specific bindings for driving browsers; Selenium IDE, a Chrome, Firefox, and Edge add-on for record-and-playback of browser interactions; and Selenium Grid, for distributing and running tests across several machines and managing multiple environments from a central point. Selenium is an open-source project with a third-party ecosystem of drivers, bindings, plugins, and frameworks.

Selenium is aimed at developers, QA engineers, and others automating browser-based tasks. The project is open source and supported through sponsorship and donations; no paid editions, trials, or seat-based plans are described.
