SchemaStack

Build like a spreadsheet. It builds your database.

Visit SchemaStack

SchemaStack is a no-code platform for designing database schemas through a spreadsheet-style interface. Editing tables in the UI produces real SQL schema in a PostgreSQL or MySQL database you own, with every structural change previewed as a migration before it runs. Existing schemas can be imported and edited the same way. SchemaStack stores only metadata; business data stays in your database, whether self-hosted or through managed hosting.

Features include Schema Advisor, which suggests a validated schema from a plain-English description; spreadsheet-like data views with filters, sorting, presets, and real-time collaboration; and an automatic REST API per workspace with CRUD, filtering, pagination, and Swagger docs. AI agents can connect via a one-URL connector with consent screens and scoped permissions, or through API keys for tools like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and Cursor, with MCP support. Workspaces are isolated with their own database connection, granular roles, and time-limited guest links. Auth0, Clerk, and Firebase identities can be pointed at a workspace.

SchemaStack targets developers and agencies shipping client-facing data tools, teams needing real foreign-key relationships in a spreadsheet UX, operations teams replacing shared sheets, and structured-content use cases. It offers a free forever tier, a Pro edition with a 14-day trial, and an Enterprise edition with custom terms; limits are set per workspace, views, members, API requests, storage, and AI messages.
