Saga is an AI agent platform for patient access back-office work. It reads referrals, faxes, charts, plan PDFs, portal exports, and handwritten documents, extracts structured data, and completes tasks directly in the EHR — covering prior authorization, eligibility and coverage verification, intake, and records assembly. Human review is applied to sensitive actions, and the platform is HIPAA-compliant with SOC 2 Type II and a BAA included.

The platform ingests any document format via a computer-use agent without an API lift, reasons against the full chart (history, medications, coverage, prior authorizations, care gaps), and writes orders, documents, and status back to the EHR with approval. Supported EHRs include Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, eCW, and MedENT. It assembles and tracks prior auth submissions across medical, pharmacy, and DME benefits, requests missing documentation automatically, re-verifies coverage, and provides queue visibility with a review inbox for flagged items. Sensitive actions await human sign-off, and customer data is not used to train models.

Saga is built for practices, provider groups, and health systems. The platform is described as live in under a month with no rip-and-replace, and onboarding includes modeling figures against your own volumes.
