Ruby on Rails

Accelerate your agents with convention over configuration

Visit Ruby on Rails

Ruby on Rails is a full-stack web application framework written in Ruby that follows the Model-View-Controller pattern. It provides conventions and built-in components covering both front-end and back-end work, so developers can render HTML templates, work with databases, send and receive email, maintain live pages over WebSockets, queue background jobs, store uploads in the cloud, and apply protections against common attacks such as CSRF, script injection, and SQL injection.

Its core modules include Active Record for modeling database tables with associations, callbacks, encryption, and query scopes; Action Controllers for processing requests, parameters, caching headers, and rendering HTML or JSON; Action Views for templates mixing Ruby and HTML; and Action Dispatch for routing URLs to controller actions. The framework also includes a security policy with a vulnerability reporting program and a defined disclosure process. Rails is released under an open-source license, with source code and contributions hosted on GitHub.
