Rise is a Canadian people-management platform that brings employee benefits, payroll, time management, HR, recruiting, onboarding, performance, time off, scheduling, and time tracking into a single system. It is designed to reduce administrative work across the employee lifecycle, from hiring through ongoing employment, while keeping payroll and compliance processes accurate.
Core capabilities include a people directory, HR documents, custom roles and permissions, people reports, eSignatures, dynamic org charts, automated workflows, automated payroll with direct deposit, tax remittance, T4 generation, and payroll integrations. Additional modules cover self-onboarding with offer letters and task workflows, time off tracking with custom policies and multi-step approvals, an applicant tracking system with careers pages and custom hiring funnels, performance reviews with 360-degree feedback, and a mobile app for directory access, pay stubs, time off requests, and time clocking. Scheduling and time tracking are available as an add-on, as is managed payroll handled by Rise staff.
Rise is packaged in tiered plans priced per employee with a base fee, including a lower-cost entry tier and a broader tier that adds recruiting and performance; higher tiers are quoted directly. A discount on platform fees applies when employee benefits are added, and plans can be extended with add-ons such as managed payroll and a dedicated account manager.
