Print to hardware and devices from your web browser
QZ Tray is a desktop utility from QZ Industries, LLC that bridges web pages with local printers and other hardware. It lets browser-based applications send print jobs and communicate with devices such as scales and barcode label printers, addressing the gap between web software and physical hardware.
The software supports print formats including PDF, PNG, HTML, PCL, ESC/POS, EPL, ZPL, SBPL and FGL, and communicates over serial, HID, USB, socket and file IO. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux clients and works across major browsers, with a JavaScript API and sample code for integration. QZ Tray is open source under the LGPL and is free to download and use. Optional paid support tiers are available, including Premium Support and a Company Branded edition with additional white-label features, licensed annually.
