PrintNode

Remote Printing for Web Apps

Visit PrintNode

PrintNode is a hosted cloud printing service that lets web applications send print jobs to printers connected to a PrintNode Client running on a computer. It solves the problem of printing from browser-based or remote applications to local hardware, supporting both PDF documents and RAW printing in native printer languages such as ZPL and EPL for label and barcode printers. The service also supports USB and serial weighing scales, streaming scale data to applications through the API.

Core capabilities include a JSON API for submitting print jobs, a client application for Windows, macOS and Linux (including Raspberry Pi), and support for printers registered with the operating system. Integrator Accounts add custom-branded client software, delegated authentication, and the ability to create and manage customer accounts. Private deployments of the server software are available for organizations with in-house infrastructure requirements.

PrintNode is aimed at developers and businesses integrating printing or scale data into their applications, from individual users to multi-location operations. Plans are usage-based, with a free Lite tier limited in prints and connected computers, paid monthly or yearly editions with included print allowances and computer counts, and overage fees for additional prints. A one-month free trial applies to new accounts, with a further free month when upgrading to an Integrator Account. Standalone Server pricing is arranged directly.
