Pin Payments is an end-to-end online payments platform that combines a payment gateway, processor, risk management and acquiring in a single account, removing the need for a separate merchant account. Founded in 2011, it serves small businesses and platforms in Australia and New Zealand, supporting one-time, recurring and split payments, foreign currency acceptance, and settlement in multiple currencies.

The platform offers a single payments API, a hosted Payment Page, and integrations with ecommerce, booking, invoicing and accounting applications including Shopify, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce (Magento), Xero and Chargebee. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported, alongside Hosted Fields for card acceptance, tokenised card storage, PCI Level 1 compliance, and Payouts APIs for third-party transfers. Settlement typically occurs within two business days.

Pin Payments is free to start with no lock-in contracts or monthly fees, charging a fee per processed transaction. Custom pricing is available for businesses processing above a monthly threshold, and discounted rates apply to registered not-for-profit organisations.
