Oxwall

Flexible Social Community Software

Visit Oxwall

Oxwall is a self-hosted, open-source social platform for building branded community websites without coding, developed by Skalfa LLC since 2010. It covers core community features such as a newsfeed, groups, forums, blogs, photo sharing, events, chat, user roles and permissions, content moderation, and customizable registration questions. Monetization options include membership levels, user credits, virtual gifts, ad banner placement, and pay-per-minute WebRTC video chat.

The platform is extensible through native and third-party plugins, with integrations for payment providers including Stripe, PayPal, CCBill, Paymentwall, and 2checkout, plus Google Analytics, Cloudflare, and Twilio SMS verification. Admin tools include a drag-and-drop CMS, theme customization, one-click updates, statistics, and CSV import. Oxwall can be deployed as a website, a progressive web app, or native iOS and Android apps built with Flutter, with app store submission assistance available. A chat operator tool with AI support is included in licensing packages.

Oxwall is offered as one-time-fee license packages in Silver and Gold editions, covering website source code, installation, PWA setup, and lifetime access to basic plugins and premium templates; the Gold edition adds native iOS and Android app source code and store submission services. Packages include an initial period of managed support, hosting, and premium plugin access, after which these become optional subscriptions. Custom development and hourly developer or design work are available as separate engagements.
