Openport
Easy and secure port forwarding.
Openport is a port forwarding service that creates a secure tunnel from a device to the internet, allowing remote connections without opening firewall ports. It solves the problem of accessing devices behind restrictive networks, such as NATs or corporate firewalls, by relaying traffic through Openport’s servers.
The service supports forwarding any TCP port and offers HTTP forwarding, which provides a public HTTPS address with a valid certificate for web applications, including WebSockets and streaming. Users can also bring their own domain with end-to-end encryption, where Let’s Encrypt certificates are obtained and renewed automatically through the tunnel. An API is available for managing sessions and devices programmatically. Openport has servers worldwide to minimize latency.
Openport is designed for individuals, teams, and organizations needing remote access to devices, such as IoT fleets, home automation, or development servers. It offers a free plan with one device, one connection per device, 10 MB monthly transfer, and a one-day connection timeout. Paid plans include Home (3 devices, 1 GB transfer, full API access), Educational (100 devices, 10 GB transfer), and Enterprise (unlimited devices, 100 GB transfer per device, minimum 30 devices). The Home and Enterprise plans come with a 30-day free trial.
