Splunk is a data platform for security, observability, and AI operations that analyzes machine data where it lives, including petabyte-scale telemetry. It is now a Cisco company. The platform supports search and analysis, an agentic SOC for threat detection and response, agent observability for AI infrastructure, and full-stack observability with AI SRE agents for root cause isolation. Splunk On-Call, formerly VictorOps, provides on-call scheduling, escalation policies, and incident collaboration for developers, DevOps, and operations teams.

Pricing is offered through activity-based, ingest, workload, and entity models, with Cloud Flex allowing spend reallocation across the portfolio. Splunk Cloud Platform and Splunk Enterprise support unlimited users and are available in cloud, private cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments. Observability Cloud, Agent Observability, and On-Call include free editions or free trials, while AppDynamics and SOAR offer free trials.
