Lua Legal is a meeting AI notetaker and assistant designed for legal professionals. It records phone calls, video conferences, and in-person meetings, producing transcripts, summaries, and action items while giving users control over whether a record is created and where data is stored. During a meeting, users can go off-the-record, strike portions, or cancel the note entirely; notes can be delivered in the app, by email or text, or added to a case management system.
The Lua Notetaker and Lua Assistant modules handle live support during meetings, including answering questions, summarizing documents, and starting background tasks. After meetings, Lua drafts follow-up emails, schedules calendar events, handles timekeeping, and prepares memos and documents. Users can chat with Lua by text or email to surface information across meetings and set reminders. Lua is available as a desktop app for macOS and Windows, with a trial and demo option.
