Kiwi IRC

Kiwi IRC is a web-based IRC client that runs in a browser without requiring any downloads or plugins. It solves the problem of accessing IRC networks from any device, including desktop, phone, and tablet browsers, while also offering an embeddable chat widget for websites and network management tools for IRC operators.

The client includes support for themes, SSL encryption, multiple languages, text styling, user scripts, and plugins. It works across all major browsers and platforms. For IRC network operators, Kiwi IRC provides WEBIRC for handling user hostnames and IP addresses, real-time usage statistics, and server controls to manage which networks users can connect to. The embeddable website widget allows site owners to add a live chat client without in-depth setup.

Kiwi IRC is designed for individual users who want a browser-based IRC client, website owners who need an embedded chat solution, and IRC network operators who require administrative tools. The software is open source and available for self-hosting. The hosted version on kiwiirc.com offers a free tier for unregistered networks, with additional features available through registration.
