GNU Mailman
Mailman, the GNU mailing list manager.
GNU Mailman is free software for managing electronic mail discussion and e-newsletter lists. It is integrated with the web, allowing users to manage their accounts and list owners to administer their lists. The software includes built-in archiving, automatic bounce processing, content filtering, digest delivery, and spam filters. It is distributed under the GNU General Public License and written in Python.
Mailman supports through-the-web list creation and removal, multi-lingual list pages and notices, personalized deliveries, VERP-like bounce detection, MIME-based content filtering, regular expression topic filtering, membership management, administrative request pages, moderation and privacy controls, subscription invitations, auto-response controls, and user-controllable delivery options. Mailman 3 adds virtual hosting, a single account for managing multiple subscription addresses, a preferred default address, a REST-based API, the Postorius web interface, and the HyperKitty archiver. The project offers both Mailman 3 and Mailman 2.1 releases.
