Private, self-hosted smart home with AI.

Visit Gladys Assistant

Gladys Assistant is a self-hosted smart home platform that runs on the user's own Linux hardware, keeping sensor data, scenes, and history on the local network. It brings device control, automation, energy monitoring, and voice interaction into one interface, with no mandatory cloud dependency. Installation is guided through Docker, and the core software is free and open-source.

The platform includes a dashboard for monitoring temperature, security cameras, and presence; scenes for automating routines without coding; energy tracking for electricity, solar production, and home battery; and a built-in voice assistant. It supports Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, MQTT, and brand integrations including Philips Hue, SmartThings, TP-Link Kasa and Tapo, Shelly, Sonos, Reolink, LG ThinQ, Netatmo, Tuya, and Zendure, with community-built external integrations available as well.

Gladys Plus is an optional subscription for users who want encrypted remote access, automatic backups, voice assistant integrations, AI features, and camera streaming. It is offered in Lite and Plus editions, with monthly or yearly billing and a one-month free trial. The core software remains free to install and use locally.
