Freestyle
Freestyle provides full Linux VMs for AI agents, built for complex tasks that run for hour
Freestyle provides full Linux virtual machines designed for AI agents, addressing the need for isolated, long-running environments that can handle complex tasks. Each VM offers a real Linux kernel with full root access, supporting nested virtualization for running Docker and other VMs inside. Key capabilities include instant startup, live forking of running VMs, and pause/resume with state intact.
The platform features a TypeScript SDK for creating and managing VMs, streaming PTY sessions, snapshots for cloning machine state, and scoped identities for SSH access. Networking controls include default-deny rules, live previews with custom domains, and WireGuard tunnels for connecting to private clouds. Integrations cover tools like Bun, Node.js, Python, and Postgres.
Freestyle is aimed at developers building agent platforms, user VMs, and browser automation workflows. It offers a free plan with limits on concurrent and saved VMs, paid Hobby and Pro tiers with higher limits and usage-based billing for compute and storage, and an Enterprise edition with custom pricing, SAML SSO, audit logs, and dedicated support.
