Codio is a platform for teaching software development, AI literacy, and data science through hands-on labs. It replaces the separate IDEs, grading scripts, course content, and LMS plugins that technical courses often depend on, consolidating them into a single environment so instructors spend less time on setup, troubleshooting, and manual grading.
Core capabilities include a browser-based online IDE with managed environments (containers, VMs, and GPU-powered Jupyter), instant feedback and auto-grading with rubric-based scoring, content authoring and courseware management with Git workflows, and LMS integration with one-click SSO and grade sync.
