CircuitLab
Online circuit simulator and schematic editor that runs in the browser.
CircuitLab is an in-browser schematic capture and circuit simulation tool for designing and analyzing analog and digital circuits before building a prototype. It combines a schematic editor with mixed-mode simulation, plotting, and export capabilities, alongside an interactive electronics textbook, a community Q&A forum, and a library of example circuits.
The editor includes Smart Wires for connecting terminals, an easy-wire mode, cross-window copy/paste, and a build box for basic and non-linear circuit primitives. Simulation covers analog and digital components side-by-side using SPICE-like component models, with frequency-domain small-signal analysis, parameter stepping, Laplace transfer function blocks, and unit-aware expression evaluation for plotting arbitrary signals. Schematics export as vector PDF, PNG, EPS, or SVG, and unique circuit URLs support sharing. The platform runs in the browser with no installation.
CircuitLab is aimed at students, hobbyists, and professional engineers. Core functionality is available for free, and paid upgrades authorize full commercial use for professional engineers; the pricing page offers Professional, Academic, and Hobbyist options.
