Canopy is investment fund infrastructure software for setting up funds, managing capital, and reporting performance online. It addresses the administrative work around private equity co-investments and SPVs, including legal documents, wires, and taxes, for investors and managers ranging from large hedge funds to syndicate leads.
The platform includes modules for Syndicate & Co-Investments, Private Funds (in beta), and a Founders CRM for fundraising that tracks interest and generates SAFEs. Features include a fundraising prospectus, an LP interest dashboard, e-signature collection, wire handling, a dataroom, portfolio performance dashboards, LP email updates, and platform announcements. It supports international deals and LPs, and other SPV types such as real estate and crypto are listed as coming soon.
