Visit AnyCable

AnyCable is an open-source WebSocket server that provides delivery guarantees, presence tracking, and message ordering out of the box. It recovers missed messages after connectivity interruptions and keeps connections alive during deployments, running as a standalone server alongside an application. It works with Rails, Laravel, Node.js, Python/FastAPI, and any other backend through an HTTP API, with native SDKs for Rails and Laravel, and supports Hotwire, Turbo Streams, and JavaScript frameworks.

The server is written in Go and uses an embedded NATS pub/sub server, with optional support for existing Redis or NATS instances. It includes a JavaScript/TypeScript client (`@anycable/web`, `@anycable/core`), Python and Ruby clients, and a pub/sub interface for streaming and presence events. It can be deployed as managed SaaS, self-hosted Pro, or open source, with no code changes required to switch between options. On-premise deployments keep realtime data on your own infrastructure. Packaging includes a free managed plan for a single instance, a free trial for self-hosted Pro editions (Startup, Business, and Scale) with seat- or instance-based tiers, and an open-source option that is free.
