Slack

Channels, huddles and apps for work communication

Visit Slack

Slack is a workplace communication platform that organizes conversations into channels, bringing messaging, meetings, files, apps, and AI tools into a single workspace. It is designed to reduce context switching by keeping team discussions, project information, and connected services in one place, with Slack Connect enabling secure collaboration with external partners and clients.

Core capabilities include channels, direct messaging, huddles for audio and video meetings with screen sharing, clips, canvases, lists, and file sharing. Slack AI provides channel and thread summaries, daily recaps, and automatic huddle notes, while Enterprise Search spans connected apps and data sources. Workflow Builder supports no-code automations, and the platform connects to more than 2,600 apps including Salesforce, Google Drive, Office 365, Asana, Jira, Notion, and developer tools, with APIs for custom apps and agents such as Slackbot and Agentforce. Huddles are available on desktop, mobile, and iPad.

Slack is intended for businesses of all sizes, from small teams to enterprises, and is packaged with a free version that limits huddles to two participants and 30 minutes, alongside paid versions offering unlimited group huddles. Paid plans are available in multiple editions, including Pro, Business+, and Enterprise Grid, with seat-based pricing.
