Vista Power installs and operates battery energy storage systems, along with solar panels where appropriate, on commercial, industrial, and multifamily properties. The service is designed to reduce energy costs and provide backup power without requiring property owners to fund the equipment or installation themselves. Vista Power handles system design, permitting, installation, insurance, monitoring, and maintenance, while owners pay a share of verified energy savings through an Energy Services Agreement.

The company uses Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LFP) battery energy storage systems with UL-listed hardware, inverters, and smart meters, with solar photovoltaic panels added when viable. Systems charge during low-cost periods and discharge during expensive periods to reduce energy, demand, and capacity charges. Vista Power provides 24/7 monitoring, monthly savings verification, and billing support that can split savings between owners and tenants. The service is available for properties including data centers, grocery stores, offices, factories, warehouses, hospitals, multifamily housing, and other commercial and industrial facilities.

Vista Power primarily serves commercial, industrial, and multifamily building owners and operators in the United States. The Energy Services Agreement is a 5-15 year off-balance-sheet contract under which Vista Power owns and operates the equipment, with payments beginning after the system is operational and based on verified savings. At the end of the contract, owners can renew, purchase the equipment, or have it removed. A pre-order deposit may be required before the agreement is signed, credited toward the first monthly payment or refunded if the agreement is not completed.
