Tuple

The best remote pair programming app on macOS and Windows

Visit Tuple

Tuple is a remote pair programming application for macOS and Windows, with Linux in alpha, built for software developers who need to work together on code from separate machines. It combines screen sharing, audio and video calls, and remote control in one tool, addressing the limitations of generic screen sharing for development work. Calls with two or three participants run peer-to-peer with end-to-end encryption; larger calls relay encrypted media through Tuple's servers.

Features include screen sharing up to 5K resolution, one-click swapping of who is sharing, screen annotations, emoji reactions, and animations. App Veil lets users hide sensitive apps and notifications while sharing. Triggers allow running custom code in response to call events, and keyboard shortcuts are fully customizable. Integrations cover Slack, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and a Triggers API. Local capture records transcripts, screen recordings, and annotations on-device, with transcription handled by a Whisper model running locally. Guests can join from a browser without installing the app.

Tuple is aimed at engineering teams and individual developers. It is packaged as a seat-based Engineering teams plan with unlimited pairing sessions and single sign-on, a free trial, and an Enterprise edition with custom contracts and invoice or PO payment. External collaborators can join for free as long as one participant holds a paid seat.
