Tracecat

Open source security automation platform for teams and AI agents

Visit Tracecat

Tracecat is an open-source security automation platform for building AI agents, managing cases, and automating cyber defense workflows. It addresses the need to turn alert queues, findings, and runbooks into repeatable investigations with human oversight on sensitive actions.

Core capabilities include workflows with control flow (loops, conditions, parallel subflows, scripts in Python, Bash, and Ansible), case management with a case copilot, agent skills, hosted MCP servers, human approval gates, audit logs of prompts and tool calls, and Git-based version control for syncing prompts, workflows, and skills to a repository. It integrates with 500+ tools across SIEM, EDR, MDM, and IdP categories, and supports Tracecat MCP for driving automations from coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor. Deployment options include your own VPC, on-premises, or Tracecat's cloud.

Tracecat is packaged in two editions: a free, self-hosted Open Source plan with unlimited workflows, cases, and agents, deployable via Docker or AWS Fargate, and an Enterprise edition with custom pricing that adds multi-tenant workspaces, RBAC, SCIM, advanced cases, tool approvals with a unified inbox, Kubernetes deployment, and support options. Enterprise scales with usage, deployment model, and support needs.
