Trac is a web-based software project management and bug/issue tracking system that emphasizes ease of use and low ceremony. It provides an integrated wiki, an interface to version control systems such as Subversion and Git, and reporting facilities. Wiki markup can be used in issue descriptions and commit messages, linking bugs, tasks, changesets, files and wiki pages. A timeline shows current and past project events in order, while a roadmap lists upcoming milestones.

Trac is distributed under the modified BSD License. Demo sites are available for Trac 1.4 and Trac 1.6, described as the latest stable release.
