Stunning is a failed-payment recovery platform for subscription businesses, addressing revenue lost when cards expire, are declined, or customers stop responding to a billing platform's default retries. It works alongside Stripe and also supports Foxy and Subbly with a reduced feature set.
The software sends up to eight escalating dunning emails and SMS messages, shows in-app notification bars, charges backup cards, and retries payments at optimized times over up to 21 days. It offers pre-dunning for expiring cards, abandoned payment page follow-ups, conditional templates chosen by plan or metadata, CC of billing contacts, Slack alerts, weekly reports, and revenue attribution by recovery method. A separate Managed Recovery option has Stunning's team set up, monitor, and adjust recovery, including personal customer follow-up.
Stunning is aimed at subscription businesses on Stripe, Foxy, or Subbly. Software plans start with a 15-day free trial. Managed Recovery begins with a one-time audit priced by monthly recurring revenue, followed by a monthly fee based on MRR; the audit report can be used independently with no obligation.
