Spamihilator
Free Anti-Spam-Filter for Windows
Spamihilator is a free desktop anti-spam filter for Windows that sits between an email client and the Internet, examining every incoming message and filtering out unsolicited junk mail in the background. It supports POP3 and IMAP protocols and works with most email clients, including Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Eudora, IncrediMail, Pegasus Mail, Phoenix Mail, and Opera.
The program combines several filters: a Learning Filter (Bayesian Filter) that calculates a spam probability for each email and can be trained, a Spam Word Filter that searches for known keywords with user-defined words and regular expressions, a Link Filter, a DCC Filter, and a Rule Filter. It includes a Training Area for improving recognition, lists of senders for friends and blocked addresses, a Spamihilator Recycle Bin for quarantined messages, a Setup Wizard for configuring the mail client, and SSL/TLS support for secure connections. The filter set can be extended with plugins.
Spamihilator is available for Windows in 32-bit and 64-bit versions and is provided as free software.
