Part-DB

Part-DB is an open-source inventory management system for electronic components, installed on a web server and accessed through a browser without installing additional software. It lets you assign parts to categories, footprints, manufacturers, store locations and price information, group them with tags, and attach files such as datasheets or pictures.

Features include a barcodes/labels generator for parts and storage locations, webcam barcode scanning, a user system with groups and fine-grained permissions, two-factor authentication, optional SAML single sign-on, import/export, project management with bills of material, an event log with version history, and responsive design. It supports MySQL, SQLite and PostgreSQL, rich text descriptions, multiple currencies, parametric search, migration from PartKeepr, cloud providers such as Octopart, Digikey, Farnell, Mouser and TME for part information, AI-based data extraction from shop websites, an API, and KiCad integration.

Part-DB is aimed at hobbyists tracking private inventories, makerspaces with shared access, and small companies and universities managing inventory. It is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, with a demo instance available for testing.
