Orange Data Mining
Data mining: fruitful and fun.
Orange Data Mining is an open source machine learning and data visualization toolbox that lets users build analyses without writing code. Workflows are assembled visually by placing widgets on a canvas, connecting them, and loading datasets, which makes it possible to explore data and communicate results to collaborators with different technical backgrounds.
Its capabilities include interactive visualization of statistical distributions, box plots, scatter plots, decision trees, hierarchical clustering, heatmaps, MDS, t-SNE, and linear projections. Extensions add specialized analysis, covering natural language processing and text mining, network analysis, association rules mining, fairness in machine learning, and data types such as time series, survival data, spectra, and gene expressions. Widgets designed for teaching support hands-on instruction in schools, universities, and professional training courses.
Orange is distributed as open source software, with releases available for download. The project also accepts donations to support bug fixes, new features, educational content, and computational infrastructure.
