Operational.co
Open-source event tracker tool for tech products that shows critical events in a live feed
Operational.co is an open-source, self-hostable event tracking tool for tech products. It receives operational events such as signups, payments, cancellations, webhooks, cronjob runs, and errors, then displays them in a live timeline. It is intended to complement product analytics tools by focusing on specific operational events rather than high-volume behavioral tracking.
Events can trigger push notifications on mobile and the web app, and Action Buttons can call webhooks directly from an event. Related events can be chained together to understand workflows, and JSON payloads can be logged through an expressive API. An SDK is available for integration, along with a Playground for copy-paste code samples, and AI agents or coding assistants can be used to generate an initial integration. The tool is open source and self-hostable.
Operational.co is aimed at developers and tech products, including SaaS projects, server orchestration, WordPress and other CMS platforms, and custom products. A one-time allowance of 10,000 free events is available without a credit card; after that, billing is usage-based and occurs monthly. Tracked events are stored for at least one year.
