OpenTools

The API for LLM tool use

Visit OpenTools

OpenTools is a completions API that gives applications access to a registry of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers through a single line of code. It addresses the need to connect LLMs to external tools without managing separate accounts and API keys for each service.

The API is OpenAI-compatible and supports any LLM, with backwards compatibility for traditional function calling. Applications can reference MCP servers from a registry to add capabilities such as web search, real-time location data, and web scraping. Billing is unified in one portal, with tokens charged at cost and payment applied only for tool execution.

OpenTools is aimed at developers building LLM-powered applications. It is currently in beta, with early access available through a signup.
