Orthogonal is a gateway that lets AI agents discover and call third-party APIs for web search, scraping, enrichment, market and social data, and other data and action endpoints. Instead of maintaining separate provider accounts, authentication, and billing for each service, an agent can find the right endpoint, check its inputs and price, and make the call through Orthogonal using a single account and shared balance.
The platform offers a unified API, an MCP server, a CLI, and a skill file for coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenClaw. The catalog includes more than 60 providers and over 1,000 endpoints, with tool discovery, endpoint schemas, and pricing available before a call is made. Agents can also pay through x402, MPP, or Nanopayments.
Orthogonal is aimed at developers building products or agent backends, as well as teams running agent workflows. It is packaged with a free plan that includes $10 in free credits, access to all public APIs, pay-per-request pricing, auto top-up in beta, and analytics. An Enterprise edition adds custom credit packages and dedicated support. There is no monthly platform subscription; credits are deducted per request.
