OctoPrint is a web interface for controlling and monitoring consumer 3D printers from a browser. It addresses the need to manage print jobs remotely, providing visibility into the printer's state and progress without requiring direct physical access to the machine.
The software offers remote control and monitoring features, including an embedded webcam feed, print job progress feedback, an integrated GCODE visualizer, and real-time temperature monitoring and adjustment for hotends and print beds. Users can move the print head, extrude or retract filament, and start, stop, or pause jobs.
