Argus Monitor
Fan control and system monitoring for Windows
Argus Monitor lets you set fixed fan speeds or build control curves tied to any temperature source, including CPU, GPU, HDD/SSD, motherboard and AIO sensor channels. A multi-controller feature runs several controllers in parallel per fan and applies the highest value. Fan control profiles can be switched from the interface or by hotkey, with options such as hysteresis, temperature averaging over time and rate limits to keep speeds steady. Users can also define synthetic temperatures that combine readings using operations like mean, maximum, time average and limits. Beyond fan control, the software provides temperature and fan speed monitoring, S.M.A.R.T. drive monitoring, RGB lighting control for a listed set of devices, a desktop sidebar gadget, and tray icons for at-a-glance values. An open hardware project called Argus Controller lets technically inclined users add custom temperature sensors and fan channels using a provided protocol, circuit diagram and firmware.
