NuSphere PhpED

PhpED is an integrated development environment (IDE) designed for PHP development, combining a code editor, debugger, and deployment tools. It addresses the need for a complete workflow for building, debugging, and deploying PHP-based web applications. The product line also includes PhpDock, which packages PHP web applications as standalone Windows desktop applications without code changes; NuCoder, an encoder that compiles PHP into bytecode for performance and security; PhpExpress, a PHP accelerator; and TechPlatform, a distribution of Apache, PHP, and Perl.

Key capabilities include a code editor with syntax highlighting, code completion, code folding, and support for PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, SMARTY, and XHTML. The dbg debugger supports local and remote debugging, parallel debugging, and profiling with a PHP Performance Explorer that displays data as an interactive flame graph and aggregated call stacks. The IDE offers code insight, a code navigator, and support for frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony. It integrates with phpUnit and includes an SSH client and certificate authentication.

PhpED is aimed at individual developers and companies working with PHP. A trial version is available for evaluation. The product is offered in different editions, with a Pro edition available for purchase. Licensing is seat-based, with a Team 4 option that provides a discount.
