nPerf is an internet speed test that measures download bitrate, upload bitrate and latency (ping) for broadband and mobile connections. It runs on a worldwide dedicated server network designed to saturate the connection for accurate measurement, and it is free of ads.
The test works across ADSL, VDSL, cable, FTTH/FTTB, satellite, Wi-Fi, WiMAX and cellular 2G/3G/4G/5G connections. nPerf offers apps for Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, and PC and Mac. Additional resources include a mobile coverage map for 2G through 5G, country internet connection barometers covering fixed and mobile connections, and an nPerf Awards program. Individuals and organizations can host a server as part of the project.
