Globalping is a free, open-source platform for network testing and monitoring. It runs networking commands such as ping, traceroute, dig, curl and mtr on probes distributed worldwide, letting users test web services, APIs, CDNs, DNS and edge compute services for global availability, latency and performance. Tests can be targeted by country, continent, city, region, ASN, ISP, cloud region and other location inputs.
Access is provided through a REST API, a CLI for scripting, Slack and Discord apps, an MCP server, and integrations with Zapier, n8n, Visual Studio Code, GitHub and others. Language libraries are available for Node.js/TypeScript and Go, and probes can be deployed to Kubernetes with Helm. The platform is designed for users ranging from solo developers to enterprises, with free limits for general use and higher limits for GitHub Sponsors. Users can also join the probe network by running a container to earn daily credits, or obtain a hardware probe through GitHub sponsorship.
