Notabene is a trust and compliance infrastructure for financial institutions that need to move stablecoins and other crypto assets across jurisdictions. It addresses the need to verify counterparties, authorize transactions before funds move, and meet Travel Rule requirements while supporting cross-border payments, exchanges, custodians, payment providers, and wallet operators.

The platform is organized into three layers. Notabene Flow is an open stablecoin payments platform supporting pull payments, push payments, and recurring subscriptions. Notabene Transact provides real-time transaction authorization, embedded compliance workflows, and audit-ready reporting. The Transaction Authorization Protocol (TAP) is an open protocol for exchanging signed transfer requests and encrypted pre-transaction messages across wallets, exchanges, and smart contracts. The network also includes counterparty verification, self-hosted wallet identification, sanctions screening, and access to a directory of verified virtual asset service providers.

Notabene is aimed at regulated institutions and crypto businesses, including exchanges, payment providers, custodians, banks, and stablecoin issuers. Pricing is offered through a full-feature platform with onboarding and implementation support, plus SafeTransact-Rise, a free plan that allows limited monthly transaction volume with unlimited incoming transactions and access to the VASP network.
