No Autorun
Block viruses from auto-running on USB drives
No Autorun is a Windows security utility designed to prevent autorun-based infections from removable USB drives and disks. When a removable device is inserted, it locks the autorun.inf file and other autorun-related or suspicious files, and alerts the user when a drive may be infected. The application runs from the system tray and acts automatically when a new removable drive is connected.
Its features include a file removal tool, an unlocker, and a quarantine function for malicious content. Configuration options allow Autorun to be disabled completely while keeping CD-ROM autorun enabled, scanning all disks at startup, opening the disk folder on insertion with or without delay, minimizing the window, and prompting on exit. Separate builds are available for 64-bit Windows versions. The pages do not describe a free plan, trial, or paid editions.
