Medidata is a clinical development platform from Dassault Systèmes that connects study, patient, and data workflows across the clinical trial lifecycle. It addresses the challenge of coordinating disconnected systems by bringing study design, site and patient engagement, data capture, and data review into a single environment. Dot, the platform's AI companion and trial orchestrator, is designed to navigate trial complexity and automate workflows.
The platform includes Rave electronic data capture, Medidata CTMS, eConsent, eTMF, and the myMedidata patient portal. Additional capabilities cover synthetic control arms, Rave Imaging, Sensor Cloud for patient-generated data, and Clinical Data Studio for unified cross-functional data review. Health Record Connect and Patient Payments support data access and trial-related stipends. The platform also offers Rave Lite for Phase I and IV studies, Protocol Optimization, and Medidata AI for analytics and insights. It supports decentralized and hybrid trial models and integrates with UK Health Costing Data.
Medidata is used by sponsors and CROs across therapeutic areas, as well as sites and patients. The platform is available through a subscription model, with editions and modules that can be combined based on study needs.
