Mantra
The time machine for AI coding — replay, review, keep it local.
Mantra is a local-first desktop application that acts as a 'time machine' for AI coding sessions. It records every conversation turn from supported AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Codex, GitHub Copilot Chat, OpenCode) and links each message to the exact Git state at that moment. Users can replay sessions, drag a timeline to jump to any code snapshot, and extract key decisions. It also includes a unified MCP (Model Context Protocol) control center to manage services and skills across all tools, sensitive content detection and redaction, and cross-project full-text search. The core app is free forever with no sign-up required; optional paid add-ons provide encrypted sync, publishing, and commercial support.
