magicplan is a mobile-first application for restoration and construction teams that lets crews capture a loss, create floor plans, document conditions with photos, videos and 360° imagery, fill out custom forms, and build scopes and estimates on site. Data captured in the field syncs to the office so reports and estimates do not have to be rebuilt. It runs on iOS and Android devices and works with tools such as PSA, Xactimate®, Leica, Cotality™, Ricoh360, Insta360, Tramex Meters and Zapier.
The application includes modules for site assessment, job basics and conditions, checklists and forms, sketch, moisture readings and initial logs, notes, and visual documentation. Custom forms support text, dropdowns, multi-select, photo capture, signatures and date/time stamps, with job-type-specific forms and logic. A scope of work module, marked as coming soon, turns captured data into an ESX with line items, quantities and room breakdowns, with Xactimate® export. The app is available on iOS and Android, and a free trial is offered without a credit card.
