Labric

The data layer for scientific research.

Visit Labric

Labric is a data infrastructure platform for scientific research teams that captures instrument data automatically, structures it in a custom database schema, and centralizes it in one place. It addresses the problem of data scattered across instruments, spreadsheets, and databases, where experimental context is lost and analysis is delayed by manual data movement. Incoming data is validated at ingestion, and relationships between samples, measurements, and protocols are preserved.

The platform includes a desktop Sync app with real-time file monitoring and parsers for hundreds of instrument formats, spreadsheet and database imports, and historical data backfill. A custom schema is designed during onboarding, with normalization, cross-experiment queries via SQL or a visual query builder, and integrations with Excel, Google Sheets, LIMS, ELNs, Notion, and Google Drive. Event-driven workflows run automatically through a Python SDK, with job monitoring and alerts. AI features include natural language queries, visualizations, dashboards, and support for hosted or bring-your-own LLMs, including on-premise deployment. Data can be exported or replicated, and custom parser source code is provided.

Labric offers Enterprise and Academia editions, with cloud, hybrid, or on-premise deployment options. Teams can begin with a pilot, typically one team or lab, running about three months with full platform access, instrument syncing, custom schema design, and dedicated support, without a long-term commitment.
