Knowi is a business intelligence and agentic analytics platform that queries data sources where they live, without requiring ETL or a data warehouse. It connects to SQL databases, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, REST APIs and documents, joining them at query time. A semantic layer on the dataset holds metric definitions, permissions, row-level security and lineage, so dashboards, agents, apps and embeds all read from the same governed layer.
Features include federated queries across 70+ native connectors, dashboards with scheduled reports and drilldowns, self-service analytics, and threshold and anomaly alerts routed to Slack, Teams and email. Natural language analytics resolves answers against certified datasets with the generated query visible and editable, while agentic BI can build dashboards, tune alerts and explain anomalies, using Knowi's AI or a customer's own Azure OpenAI or Claude key. Document AI supports chat with PDFs, contracts and reports alongside structured data. Embedded analytics are delivered through a JavaScript SDK, token-based embed URL or iframe, with white-labeling, multi-tenant isolation, row-level security and SSO via SAML, OAuth or JWT. Knowi Apps turn governed datasets into operational applications with outbound actions into external systems.
Knowi serves data teams, business users and product teams, including startups embedding analytics in their product and enterprises unifying data across systems. Deployment options include managed cloud, customer VPC, on-premises or air-gapped environments. A free trial is available, and the platform can be used alongside tools such as Power BI and MicroStrategy, which can read the same governed layer.
