Kafkai is an MCP plugin that connects AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or custom agents to real search data. Users ask plain-language questions about any site and receive data on keyword rankings, backlinks, competitors and Search Console metrics, along with calculations such as sorting and comparing figures. It does not write articles, store them, or track rankings on a schedule; research runs only when requested.
Capabilities include keyword and ranking data with search volume, competitor identification and overlap, backlink analysis, and Search Console metrics for a verified domain. The 4C framework (Compete, Catch-up, Consolidate, Complement) categorizes keyword recommendations against competitors. Research runs are stored in a project so users can compare changes between runs, and articles can be sent to WordPress as drafts for review.
Kafkai is aimed at site owners, agencies and web production companies managing one or many sites. Pricing is prepaid and usage-based with no subscription: users buy credit packs, and each action costs a set number of credits. New accounts receive 1,000 free credits without a credit card, valid for 90 days.
