Hund is a hosted status page platform with integrated monitoring, designed to keep service status accurate and incident communication consistent. It runs checks against services from global probe regions and updates status pages automatically when a check fails, while also supporting manual incident workflows, subscriber notifications, and a REST API. The platform is intended to reduce the gap between monitoring systems and customer-facing status updates.
Core capabilities include HTTP(S), TCP, and DNS checks from global probes, integrations with PagerDuty, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, Pingdom, and Uptime Robot, and a webhook watchdog for internal systems and scheduled tasks. Status pages support custom component statuses, structured incident timelines, scheduled maintenance, and issue templates. Notifications can be delivered via email, SMS, webhooks, Slack, Microsoft Teams, web push, and Atom/RSS, with granular subscription controls for components and event types. Public and private pages are supported, along with a REST API, Terraform provider, webhooks, custom CSS/JS design modules, role-based access control, audit logging, and SSO.
