GSmartControl
Hard disk drive and SSD health inspection tool
GSmartControl is a graphical user interface for smartctl from the smartmontools package, used for querying and controlling SMART data on modern hard disk and solid-state drives. It lets users inspect a drive's SMART data to determine its health and run various tests on it.
The tool automatically reports and highlights anomalies, enables or disables SMART, and supports configuration of global and per-drive smartctl options. It performs SMART self-tests and displays drive identity information, capabilities, attributes, and device statistics. It can also read smartctl output from a saved file as a read-only virtual device. Supported hardware includes SATA, PATA, and NVMe drives, as well as drives behind some USB bridges and RAID controllers. It runs on Linux, Windows, macOS, FreeBSD, and other BSD-style operating systems.
GSmartControl is licensed under the GNU General Public License Version 3 and is available for download from its official website and GitHub repository.
