GParted
A free application for graphically managing disk device partitions
GParted is a free partition editor for graphically managing disk partitions. It lets users resize, copy, and move partitions without data loss, grow or shrink drives, free up space for new operating systems, and create partitions to share data among operating systems.
GParted can create partition tables such as msdos and gpt, and create, move, copy, resize, check, label, set new UUID, and delete partitions. It can enable and disable partition flags such as boot or hidden, align partitions to mebibyte or traditional cylinder boundaries, and attempt data rescue from lost partitions. It works with hard disk drives, flash memory devices, SSDs, NVMe devices, and RAID devices, and supports file systems including bcachefs, btrfs, exfat, ext2/ext3/ext4, fat16/fat32, hfs/hfs+, linux-swap, lvm2 pv, minix, nilfs2, ntfs, reiserfs/reiser4, udf, ufs, and xfs.
GParted runs on x86-64 based computers running Linux, Windows, or Mac OS X by booting from media containing GParted Live, with a minimum of 1 GB of RAM needed to use all features. It is free software distributed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or any later version.
