GoldWave

GoldWave is desktop audio editing software from GoldWave Inc., a small Canadian company. It handles recording, editing, restoration, enhancement, analysis and conversion of audio files, and is also offered as a browser-based version called GoldWave Infinity. A second product, VideoMeld, provides multitrack audio and video editing.

GoldWave includes recording, editing, restoration, enhancement, analysis and conversion tools, along with full keyboard accessibility, foot pedal support for playback, and visual displays. The Windows version supports multiple languages, including English, German, Spanish, French and Chinese. GoldWave Infinity runs in modern web browsers on Android, Linux, macOS, iOS and Windows without installation. VideoMeld supports mixing, layering and sequencing of videos, photos, music, vocals and text, with transitions, fades, green screen, zooming, panning and colour filters.

GoldWave is available as a fully functional evaluation version for Windows and mobile devices, with a paid desktop edition and a browser-based Infinity version. VideoMeld is offered as a separate Windows product. The company also provides plug-ins, developer resources, tutorials, forums and support.
