Fresh KDS is a kitchen display system that runs as an app on iPads and Android tablets, connecting to a restaurant's point of sale so orders appear on screen as they are rung in with items, modifiers, notes and timers. Staff tap items off as they finish and clear tickets when orders are ready, replacing paper tickets with a shared view of what is next.
Core capabilities include automatic order sorting by prep and pickup time, color-coded timers, order prioritization, multi-station screen communication, live ingredient all-day counts, modifier styling, and label and ticket printing through supported Bluetooth, network and USB printers. Fresh KDS On The Fly provides live kitchen performance monitoring and comparisons across locations, hours and order channels. It integrates with more than 30 POS and online ordering platforms, including Square, Clover, TouchBistro, Lightspeed K-Series, SpotOn, Qu, Oracle Restaurants, Olo, Cuboh and Otter, with a developer guide for building additional integrations.
Fresh KDS serves food trucks, cafes, bistros, fast casual, casual dining and brewery kitchens, as well as multi-location restaurant groups through its Enterprise edition, which centralizes device settings, screen configurations and workflow standards. Plans are packaged as Essentials, Premium and Enterprise, priced per screen with monthly or annual billing, and a 7-day free trial of the Premium plan is available for new accounts.
